WE’RE NOT PERFECT. WE’RE TRYING.
We’re not going to pretend we’ve solved sustainability.
We’re not carbon neutral (yet).
We don’t have everything dialed.
And yeah—sometimes the better choice costs more, takes longer, or is harder to pull off.
Our primary goal at Fiona MFG Co. is to create and construct with a healthy future in mind.
Like a campsite, our commitment is to leave this world better off than when we started, and in doing so, pledge to our customers and ourselves that we will utilize and expand sustainable and eco-conscious business practices when possible.
Because if we’re building something tied to the places we actually care about—
we don’t get to ignore the impact we have on them. And many of those places are not guaranteed.
How We Think About It
We keep it simple:
Make less. Make it better. Make it last.
That means designing products you don’t need to replace every season; choosing materials that hold up over time; avoiding unnecessary complexity, waste, and overproduction; and releasing products when they’re ready—not when a calendar says so.
Materials and Making
We’re constantly working toward achieving a few common goals
More natural and recycled materials
Lower-impact dyes and finishes
Thoughtful sourcing over convenience
Partners who care about how things are made—not just how fast
We’re not all the way there yet. But every product we release is a step closer.
Small Batch > Mass Production
We don’t believe in flooding the world with stuff. Most of what we make is produced in small runs, which means:
Less excess inventory
Less waste
More focus on getting each piece right
If something sells out, it sells out
We’ll make more when it makes sense—not just to keep shelves full.
Packaging
We’re actively working to reduce:
Plastic wherever possible
Excess packaging
Anything that doesn’t serve a purpose
Simple, functional, and minimal—just like the products.
Longer Life, Less Waste
The most sustainable product is the one you don’t have to replace.
So we design with that in mind:
Durable construction
Timeless design over trend cycles
Pieces that age well, not fall apart
Wear it hard. Keep it longer.
Holding Ourselves Accountable
We’ll keep sharing what we’re doing—
the wins, the misses, and everything in between.
Because this isn’t a checkbox.
It’s part of building the kind of company we actually want to stand behind.
We’re figuring it out as we go. Making better decisions each time. Learning, adjusting, improving.
Not perfect.
But moving in the right direction.
ALWAYS FORWARD.
